So the ride has been getting bigger every year, this time we are expecting around 300 riders and we are confident you will have a fantastic day out, and raise some cash for a great charity at the same time! For those that missed the online registration, there is plenty of space left and we are happy to take entries on the day.

Registration and start will be open from 8.30-9.30 for the long route riders, 9.30-10.30 for the medium route riders, and 10.30-11.30 for the short route riders. We are hoping all riders should be finished by 4.30pm.
The start point is the Boar’s Head in Aust (Main Rd, Aust, Bristol BS35 4AX).
On arrival please drive through the pub car park and park in the mown field behind the pub. There is a small path through to the pub garden where registration will take place.

If you have yet to register we will take payment on the day just notify the HQ on arrival and they will take your details and issue you with a number. If you could aim to arrive early this will give us plenty of time to get you on your way. The on the day prices are as follows:
Attach your rider number to the front of your bike, enjoy a complementary tea and coffee or perhaps purchase a bacon roll or porridge - then the fun begins!
ROUTE AND SUPPORT
The route is fully signed using red arrows on a white background and full GPS directions are available from the routes section of the website. Where the routes split, there will be additional signage. The short route splits off at 18.2 miles, the medium route takes a scenic route into Abergavenny at 22 miles then splits off from the long route at the Abergavenny feed station (28.5 miles) and the long route continues up and over Hay Bluff.
There are three feed stations:
1) The short route will use a feed station at the Usk Castle, 23 miles into the course.
2) The medium route will use feed stations at Abergavenny (in the car park near the Swan Hotel) at 28.5 miles and at the Usk Castle at 39.7 miles.
3) The long route will use feed stations at Abergavenny at 28.5 miles, Talgarth rugby club at 55.1 miles, passing through Abergavenny again if required at 73.5 miles and Usk at 84.7 miles.
Feed stations will be stocked with water, High 5 energy +electrolyte drink and variety of sweet and savoury food. There are toilets, track pumps and a first aid kit available at all feed stations.
A broom wagon (red VW Golf) will follow the last riders out, and ensure everybody returns safely. While we expect riders to be able to fix their own flat tyres, a mechanic will be available along the course, should any larger mechanical issues occur. In case of a problem, mechanical or otherwise, please use the phone numbers on the back of your rider number to contact a ride organiser.
ON YOUR RETURN
When you return to the Boar’s Head, please sign back in with a ride organiser to let us know you have completed the course. In return you will be issued with a BBQ voucher and medal. We’ll provide the BBQ, all you need to do is buy yourself a pint of something refreshing, sit back and celebrate your sportive success!
